Syralette Sweet Sensation
Maisie captured our hearts at about 3 weeks old. We had no intention of keeping a chocolate girl, but this one was stunning right from the beginning. Such a pretty little face in a well shaped head, with lovely eye colour and we could soon see that she was well marked too. So, that was that, she was definitely staying.
We were right to keep her, she has grown into a real sweetie, with a shy nature but so loving and gentle with those she knows. Gorgeous deep blue eyes with such a lovely expression, pristine white gloves and gauntlets and a pale, silky, profuse coat.
We have high hopes that she will soon produce some very pretty babies, then, when she has matured a bit, we will take her to some more shows to see if she can win a title or three!
These photos are of Maisie's first litter of 4 lovely kittens who arrived on 26th April 2011 and proved to be better than we dared hope. She had a seal boy and a seal girl, a lilac boy and a chocolate tabby girl, all potentially good enough for the showbench. She has proved to be an excellent little Mum and has raised her babies with love and patience.
We are thriled to announce that this little star, Syralette Mamselle Koko, entered her first show in Chester at 16 weeks of age and was awarded 1st place in her Open Class, Best of Breed and Best of Variety Semi-Longhair Kitten. This is an amazing achievement for such a young kitten and we are so proud of her. Our thanks to Jan, her new owner, for taking such good care of her.
We wish her every success for the future.
Hot on her heels is Syralette Perle d'Azure, who attended his first show at Teesside at 18 weeks of age and he too won 1st Open, Best of Breed and Best of Variety Semi-Longhair Kitten. Tricia, his new owner, is delighted and we are really proud of him too.
We will be following the show careers of both these babies with interest.
