Syralette Sugar 'n' Spice
I have always wanted a lilac tabby, I just love the soft, subtle colours and this time Truffle came up trumps with this little beauty. The lilacs are so pale that it takes a long time to accurately assess their markings so you have to take a leap of faith and just be patient. So far all I can say is that she appears to be well marked, but only time will tell if she is good enough for a show career, if not she will hopefully be just as good a Mum as Truffle, her own Mum.
She is already a cuddle cat, and has a purr like a diesel engine, but she's a real mischief maker with Maisie, her partner in crime. What one doesn't think of, the other one does and between them they have perfected the innocent 'it wasn't me Mum' look. Favourite game at the moment is unwinding the loo roll. Brilliant fun!
Millie has also justified our faith in her, growing into a really pretty girl, with her soft lilac colouring and her subtle tabby markings. She too has a pale, silky and profuse coat and her soft colouring shows off her lovely eye colour to perfection.
We have high hopes of a successful show career for her, but she will need to mature a bit more first, so we will see how she takes to maternal duties first!
